Job Description

Schoharie Central School is accepting applications for part-time 10-month Teacher Aide (s)

Assists children across streets or highways; Loads and unloads children from school buses and other school vehicles; Maintains order on the school bus or other school vehicles; Secures the children with safety belts in their seats; Maintains proper seating discipline; Informs children about safety regulations and practices

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 19 years old

Special Requirement for Appointment in School Districts:

In accordance with the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation, Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and by the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, candidates for appointment in school districts must obtain clearance for employment from the State Education Department prior to employment based upon a fingerprint and criminal history background check.
