Part-Time Elementary Teacher Aide 10 Month Position (2)
3.5 Hours a day 10am - 1:30 pm
JOB DUTIES (include but not limited to):
Supervise children; circulate among students to ensure a safe environment.
Assist students as needed and be sure they are observing school rules for safety at all times while maintaining a positive environment.
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma is required.
Special Requirement for Appointment in School Districts:
In accordance with the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation, Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and by the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, candidates for appointment in school districts must obtain clearance for employment from the State Education Department prior to employment based upon a fingerprint and criminal history background check.
